Forward-looking OCT endomicroscope based on a compact Fourier-plane piezo fiber scanner

We present an endoscopic OCT probe featuring a piezo-tube-actuated Fourier-plane fiber scanner, which has 2 mm field-of-view and 29 μm lateral resolution. With 3 mm outer diameter and only 11mm in length, the probe is the shortest reported probe of this type and offers a good solution for flexible endomicroscopy within confined volumes.
