Design and study of wideband photonic crystal fiber with low dispersion and confinement loss

We proposed atypical design of wideband photonic crystal fiber with optimized losses using a rectangular pcf with enlarged four central air hole. The proposed design of pcf is composed silica material, design and simulated by finite difference time domain software(FDTD)method, Using this structure, the pcf with confinement loss lass then -0.1db/km over a wide range of wavelength from 0.8-2μm and zero dispersion from range of wavelength 1.6-1.8μm with low birefringence 10
