Design and research of integrated information platform for smart ship

Data collection is basis and premise for data application, comprehensive analysis, assessment and decision-making for smart ship. Integrated information platform is an advanced solution to data collection and data application. By using many advanced technologies such as computer technology, information and communication technology, data of all the function-oriented subsystems are aggregated by the platform to develop networked, informatized and intelligent system for integrated monitoring and management. The scheme of ship integrated information platform for 13500TEU container vessel is proposed with the design of system architecture, network topology, internal and external interfaces, security and reliability and so on based on analyzing requirements of data integration for platform. The scheme combines ship management service network into integrated platform and provides WiFi hotspot and video surveillance access, thus constructing an intelligent management platform for smart ship. Data of function-oriented subsystems such as engine room monitoring and alarming system, ship performance system and so on are aggregated. It constructs a management platform of all-ship resource and information to realize comprehensive display of information resource and performance monitoring, thus ensuring ship safety and economic navigation.
