Using structured decision making and remote sensing to help implement ecological restoration of degraded mud flat ecosystem

Ecological restoration for degraded mud flat ecosystem can be implemented by planning managers according to the ground investigation, but with low efficiency. We report that satellite sensors of remote sensing, minimizing ecological restoration cost and maximizing ecosystem service values improve ecological restoration efficiency of degraded mud flat ecosystem. In particular, an optimal programming, structured decision making (SDM), improves the ecological restoration efficiency by more than 250% in the return on investment of the ecological restoration, using TM satellite as sensors of area of degraded mud flat ecosystem. SDM also enables efficient introduction of optimal ecological restoration management in degraded mud flat ecosystem.
