Study of evaluation of the influence of small asymmetries on deviations of a longitudinal axis of a space landing vehicle equipment from a speed vector under the conditions of a resonant movement regime

The dynamics of angular motion of a space landing vehicle with an inflatable braking device under resonance conditions is studied in this paper. Calculations of the parameters of the angular motion of the landing vehicle are performed using the method developed by the authors, based on the assumption that the deformation of the inflatable braking device occurs in the plane of the spatial angle of attack. It is shown that the main factor causing the change in the parameters of the angular motion of the landing vehicle after the passage of the resonance moment is the asymmetry of the external shape and the magnitude of the velocity head. Asymmetry of the external shape of the deformed inflatable braking device leads to significant additional values of the aerodynamic coefficient of torque. Depending on the transverse stiffness of the inflatable braking device, the values of this coefficient can reach values that strongly affect the dynamics of the angular motion of the landing vehicle. In some cases, the spatial angle of attack reaches such values that the movement of the landing vehicle with the inflatable braking device becomes unstable.
