Report From the Science and Technology Council of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences was founded 90 years ago this past May. Among the honorary professional society’s initial goals was the advancement of motion picture science and technology, and accordingly, it embarked on a range of industry-wide collaborations. The work continues today through the Academy’s Science and Technology Council, whose mission is as follows.
