Analysis of PROINFA Power Plants Portfolio from the Perspective of Markowitz

This study aims to assess whether the contracting rules of the Incentive Program for Alternative Sources of Electric Energy (PROINFA) have resulted in an optimized portfolio of projects, through the Portfolio theory developed by Markowitz for application in financial securities.
