Amorphous ferromagnetic glass-coated microwires (typically of 1–30 µm in diameter) have attracted considerable attention in the last few years basically owing to excellent magnetic properties, such as excellent magnetic softness, Giant Magnetoimpedance, GMI, effect, fast magnetization switching and fast domain wall dynamics[1].
