Single phase inverter with hybrid topology and efficient switching principles

In this paper we examine a new architecture for the inverter used in the conversion of electric energy produced from sources of renewable energy. This type of inverter is particular because the compensation of current with double frequency is performed by a special block. In this block, like in the inverter, the switching of electronic keys is realized using the Triangular Current Mode method, which ensures the switching at near zero voltage. The proposed algorithm of controlling the electronic keys permits an increase of their work frequency up to hundreds of kHz. Transistors operate at variable frequency, which changes both slowly and by jumping in their work cycle. Ensuring the admissible heat regime is done by using forced cooling in the air flux and by convection. Increasing the release of heat output is ensured by an original construction of the radiators, which forms the turbulence regime of the cooling air flux. A functional laboratory ample has been manufactured of 2kW power, 450V direct current voltage, 230V alternative output voltage and 175mm ×35mm ×30mm size.
