Research on DC-DC converter with parallel current sharing mode at high temperature

For the applications of WPT technology in high temperature environment, the parallel current sharing technology is introduced into the WPT system to solve the high loss problem of the DC-DC converter link, so as to inhibit the rise of the temperature in system. In this paper, a small signal model is established for DC-DC parallel system. Based on the output current feedback method, the equations for calculation of parallel current sharing is deduced with the small signal model of the parallel system. Finally, a parallel system consisting of two buck converters are introduced, and the current sharing circuit is designed based on the output current feedback method. The output current of the parallel system is measured at different temperatures. The experimental results show that good current sharing effect can be achieved with this method in high temperature environment.
