Solar photo-voltaic model using soft-switching techniques for battery charging application

This paper is all about connecting a solar photovoltaic module with soft-switching converter like ZVS-ZCS converter. Here in the proposed methodology we have a ZVS-ZCS buck converter being connected with the solar photovoltaic module which is basically made by Matlab Simulink. The soft switching converter is used in replace of hard switching technique which incorporates less switching loss so that we can extract maximum power from the module itself. Here we have used the datasheet of BP-3150 model for designing the solar module of 72 cells. This prototype is basically used for battery charging application.
