RSU deployment problem: Unfair and aggressive competition with help of interference

Vehicular networks get high attention nowadays: they are expected to provide both road-safety and entertainment services to mobile users owning a suitable equipment. This new market may attract a number of Internet access providers, aiming to increase their profits by proposing new services. In this work we consider Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) communication scenarios, where users pay flat prices for an Internet connection. Besides purely economical aspects, we aim to consider how providers influence each other through an aggressive competition, where a provider may deploy his access point as close to the competitor's one as to cause interference to his clients (assuming that the access points operate on the same frequency). We study this sort of competition through a leader-follower game, where one participant makes his strategical decision prior to the opponent.
