A circular photonic crystal fiber supporting OAM mode transmission

We proposed a new kind of circular shaped photonic crystal fiber, which can support large number of good quality orbital angular momentum (OAM) modes, with good features of large separation of effective indices, low confinement loss, flat chromatic dispersion and small nonlinear coefficient, over wide bandwidth. With all these good features, the proposed circular photonic crystal fiber could be a good promising OAM fiber for mode division multiplexing in high capacity fiber communication systems.
