Evaluation of WorldVistA and OpenEMR for PCMH care

The Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is a team-based primary care delivery model for improving quality of care, patient satisfaction, and reduce medical cost. The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) defined standards that primary-care practices and community health centers must meet in order to be recognized as PCMHs. In this study, the NCQA's PCMH 2014 standards are used to evaluate the effectiveness of WorldVistA and OpenEMR in support of PCMH operations.
