The calculation of equivalent electromagnetic parameters in multilayer composite materials

Calculating the effective parameters (permittivity and permeability) in two-phase composite material is very important. In this paper, hierarchical computing method is used to study the equivalent permittivity and permeability of multilayer composite electromagnetic materials, and to obtain the electromagnetic shielding performance of the materials. Firstly, using of Helmholtz theorem gets electric field in space multilayer medium, then RVE models are established, and permittivity and permeability are obtained by the method of Volume weighted average algorithm in multilayer anisotropic medium.
