Different types of wearable sensors and health monitoring systems: A survey

There is steep rise in diseases due to current lifestyle and issues related with aging. Healthcare systems need to keep pace with the changing requirements of the health problems. Some of the requirements of current health monitoring systems are that they should be portable, consume less power, user friendly and so on. With the rapid development in technologies such as wireless, embedded, nanotechnology and so on it has become possible to develop such systems and devices. In this paper we have done survey of different types of wireless standards, type of sensors used along with some of the recent methodologies used in the field of health monitoring.
