Principles of construction of control devices for mechatronic pipe-lay complexes

The article considers the problem of mechatronic complexes establishment based on insulation-laying columns for construction and repair of the main pipelines of large diameter. On the basis of general control problems and technological process requirements, the construction principles of the mechatronic column control system are developed. They are based on the proposition that requirements are met with control of the load rate on the pipe-layers, distances between groups of cars and individual cars within the group, as well as allowable load on individual cars and production machines' suspension height.
