Nanostructured superconducting thin-film magnetic field concentrator

A superconducting thin-film magnetic field concentrator is investigated. It is established that nanostructuring of the concentrator active strip in superconducting branches and 20-nm cuts allows the concentration factor of the device to be multiply increased and, therefore, the threshold sensitivity of the magnetic field sensor to be significantly lowered. The concentration factor of the magnetic field concentrator based on low-temperature superconductor films appears higher than that of the concentrator based on high-temperature superconductor films.
