Preface of the AINL FRUCT 2016 Conference

The Fifth Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Conference (AINL), held on 10-12 November, 2016 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, was organized by FRUCT Association, NLP Seminar, ITMO University and Odnoklassniki. It had an aim to bring together experts in the areas of language processing, speech technologies, dialogue systems, information retrieval, artificial intelligence and robotics; and to create a platform for sharing experience, extending contacts and searching for possible collaboration. Overall, the conference gathered almost 100 participants.
