Ann controller for harmonic reduction in grid connected system

Different control strategies for harmonic reduction in the LCL filter connected to the grid are proposed in this article. In grid connected system, the use of energy for high loads causes current ripple and for attenuating this ripples LCL-filter is most preferably used with good performance. This filter itself brings harmonics, through which stability problems are also caused. To reduce harmonic condition different control strategies comprises of PID and ANN networks are implemented. The THD values of voltage and current at grid side of the proposed PID and ANN methods are judged in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
