Research on the On-demand Service mode in cloud manufacturing

As a new service-oriented manufacturing paradigm, cloud manufacturing has experienced rapid development in the last few years. It is changing the way manufacturing enterprises organize production activities in that tangible and intangible manufacturing resources encapsulated as virtualized cloud services are provided to customers. However, customers do not know the details of manufacturing service and their demands are different. Thus, an On-demand Service mode is put forwards to simplify and improve the matching process between manufacturing services and customers' requirements. The manufacturing task ontology and the corresponding cloud service ontology are designed. Then based on the similarity matching algorithm of category information, word information, number information and normalization processing, a multi-level intelligent matching method is proposed in order to find appropriate services to meet users' demand. Finally, the conclusion is pointed out.
