Quasi-optical beam power combining at submillimeter wave band

A completely symmetric structure of quasi-optical power combining system, which synthesizes 8 beams into 1 beam, is designed in this paper. Utilizing the beam converter to transform combined beams from multi-beam to Gaussian beam provides a desirable beam for several applications. The simulated results are presented to validate the feasibility of the architecture.
