The optimal sizing for AC/DC hybrid stand-alone microgrid based on energy dispatch strategy

The energy dispatch strategy of AC/DC hybrid stand-alone microgrid is put forward aiming at enhancing the operation economy of the microgrid. Based on the proposed energy dispatch strategy in this paper, an optimal sizing model is built with an economic objective. In addition, the environmental impacts are reduced to the objective function and the power supply reliability is added as constraints. By means of the modified artificial bee colony algorithm, the optimal sizing result of distributed energy in AC/DC hybrid stand-alone microgrid is obtained. Finally, the feasibility of energy dispatch strategy and optimization model is verified by example analysis. The optimal sizing result demonstrates that the energy dispatch strategy presented is more economical compared with traditional strategy.
