Economic analysis on the integration of oil-based parabolic trough solar collector and the steam turbine regenerative system

It is a simple and efficient way to use new energy sources for the integrated power generation of oil-based parabolic trough solar collector and regenerative system of the coal-fired units. Under different test load conditions, the solar energy into the regenerative system was analyzed by the equivalent enthalpy drop method. The results showed that the heat entering the high pressure location was more significant than the economic improvement of low pressure. In the 210MW test condition, the maximum of the decrement coal consumption was 6.57 g/(kW.h). In addition, the relationship between the economic indexes, the working load and the heat of the solar energy were obtained when the heat enters a certain location.
