Enhanced prediction correctness of Smartphone dictionary via addition of application awareness

This paper describes the mechanism of addition of smartphone application awareness in the dictionary software. In this method, the environment parameters and the applications running on the smartphone are linked together to provide better benefits in the dictionary learning process. Also, the system wide recommendation provided by dictionary may mislead the user to type the words and hence it is important to add the application awareness in the dictionary software as this software is shared among all other applications which use the virtual keyboard interface. This additional awareness helps dictionary software to lean the inputs easier that the normal dictionary learning works. This method optimizes the Smartphone dictionary heuristic word suggestion mechanism as each application has its own heat value maintained for word recommendation from key strokes on virtual keyboard.
