Managing communication risks in a multi-agent environment

The study proposes to improve trusts among agents by determining the most trustworthy provider, focusing on four components, namely Similarity - Reliability - Reputation - Certainty (i.e. S2RC). These components were integrated into a single model, which was evaluated in a simulated multi-agent environment using MATLAB. S2RC significantly outperformed all the compared models in terms of its accuracy in determining the most trustworthy provider. It also performed consistently throughout the simulations, unlike the other models. S2RC can be beneficial to business entities engaging in interactions with various other entities online, as these interactions take place between trustworthy agents. The proposed model was also found to perform reliably as the number of agents grows.
