Synthesis of cylindrical antenna arrays using rotation properties of the feeding excitations

This paper presents the synthesis of 3D pattern for cylindrical antenna arrays. This design of scannable cylindrical antenna arrays considers the optimization of the amplitude and phase excitations across the antenna elements. The synthesis process is carried out by the method of Differential Evolution considering a scannable array factor including the rotation properties of the feeding excitations.
