Analysis of soft switch of DC/DC boost converter based on new device

This paper compares the efficiency of DC/DC Boost converter using SiC fly-wheel diode or synchronous rectifier in different working modes. Analyze the high current spike during turn-on transient of main switch based on simulation. The method to realize soft switch without additional devices is discussed and the problems existing in this method can be solved by the application of the new device effectively.
