Cost effective fully printable chip less RFID tag antenna

Paper presents a fully printable chip less RFID tag using spur line resonators. Spectral signature technique of a spur line resonator circuit is used to detect tag's ID. The tag is capable of transmitting 12-bits for the bandwidth of 1.9 to 4.04 GHz. A spur line multi resonator and two micro strip fed UWB monopole antennas reside in chip less RFID tag. Spur line multi resonator is designed on three types of substrates CMET, paper and FR4 showing the flexibility of the design technique.
