Research on the key technologies of high power flywheel starter generator system

High Power flywheel starter generator system realizes the integration of starting and generation functions using one motor. This paper introduces the key technologies of high power flywheel starter generator system based on DSP TMS320F28335, presents a practical and high precision circuit to measure the voltage and a control strategy based on double loop with weak magnetic loop to enable the generator supply a constant voltage over a wide speed range. Conclusions were verified by experiment and the proposed strategies can meet the need of the system.
