Instruments of personal communications in global teams

Communication process in virtual teams consists of communication of individuals who work remotely, interdependently using the communication technologies established by the computer to achieve common organizational goal. Virtual teams can interact, using a set of the communication mechanisms established by the computer, including the organization of teleconferences, instant exchange of messages and the e-mail. Authors depict the examples of virtual team formation and improvement according the communication process. Authors describe cause-and-effect relations between project's member communication and the major factors of virtual team performance. The article presents the results of the analysis of the main approaches to the definition of communication tools, background for global teams and the examples of virtual organizational communication tools in different projects as well.
