Ultra-wide angle, directional spectrum splitting with visible-frequency versatile metasurfaces

We propose and experimentally realize a virtually flat metasurface which can split different visible-frequency photons to completely different or even contrary directions with ultra-wide angular range (> 90°). The phase gradients provided by the metasurface have been engineered to exhibit significant wavelength-selective features.
