A survey on IDS and counter-measure excerption approach for detecting VM exposures in cloud environment-based on AODV protocol

Due to speedy nature of technology the demand of cloud security enhanced rapidly. In the crowd of IT proficiency the security issues of cloud turn to prime business concern. Having exposure VM in cloud is most crucial subject to discourse. Especially, attackers prime target is to explore exposure of VMs. Privileges from data sharing behavior of cloud, attacker compromised VM to deploy advance wide-reaching DDoS attack. The main aim of research is to detect and mitigate exposure VM in virtual networking environment. We proposed Network basis Intrusion Detection and Counter-measure Excerption in Virtual environment (NIDSV) framework to detect, prevent and mitigate exposure VM using counter-measure excerption collaborative mechanism. Because NIDSV are vulnerable to different attacks at various layers, the types of security attacks at different layers also topic of concern. Since the design of proposed system employs routing protocol i.e. AODV, in the cloud network it is assume that none of the intruder node is malicious. The proposed framework is designed based on Counter-measure Excerption algorithm and Alert Correlativity algorithm using IDS. The IDS handle range of an attacks.
