Facebook messenger bots and their application for business

Since April 2016, after Facebook represented bots for Facebook Messenger, bots became much more popular than before. The set of bots application is large: they can be used for simple assistance, such as weather forecast, news notifications, or they can be used just for fun. But, can bots be used for the business purpose? The answer is Yes. Although, there are not so many bots for the business purpose, they can be very useful as a replacement for information desks at the bank, for example, where potential clients come to find out about loan options, about how to open a bank account and other general things. The result of such replacement will be much happier clients. In this paper, we discussed about Facebook messenger bots, how they can be developed, how can they be found, what are the most popular bots at the moment, etc. As a use-case of business purpose of bot, we implemented a bot for the bank named PseudoBank and pointed out what are advantages and disadvantages of bot application for business.
