One solution of set-top box hardware testing on production's line

The rapid development of digital television requires fast and reliable way to test devices. In this paper, a realisation of software is shown for set-top box hardware testing on production's line. Tuner, memory, Wi-Fi, ethernet, signal diodes, buttons etc. tests are described. Application is controlled by using remote controller, and graphic results are shown on the TV. Different operating modes of the system are discussed. Results of this realisation are analyzed and compared with similar solution. We suggested further improvements.
