Economic regulation of brownfield projects: the brazilian hydro power plants case

Considering three different moments of concessions renewal of hydro power plants in Brazil (1995, 2012 and 2015), this paper analyses the methodology used in each one, identifying the positive and negative points, putting together the results and proposing actions for the new tranche of concessions renewals, in 2026.
