An evaluation method for use phase affordability of aviation equipment

With the application of a variety of high-tech, life cycle cost of aviation equipment increased substantially. For the life cycle cost of aviation equipment, the costs of using phase account for more than 50% of total costs. Therefore, the development of aviation industry call for a method to evaluate and predict the use phase affordability of aviation equipment. This paper defines the definition and meaning of the use phase affordability of aviation equipment. The paper established the evaluation system for use phase affordability of aviation equipment starting from three aspects: the effectiveness of usage, support costs and importance of aviation equipment. Proposed the evaluation method for use phase affordability of aviation equipment. The evaluation method reflects the level of use phase affordability of aviation equipment scientifically, provides the basis of equipment use decision for the consumer.
