An application of IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee simulation model

Suitable simulation model is very important for the research on the IEEE802.15.4 protocol. This paper introduces the structure, function and parameters configuration of IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee simulation model in details with one application example. It is shown from the results that the functional actualization on the MAC layer of IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee simulation model is overall, which has basically actualized the characteristics of the IEEE802.15.4 protocol, which is very suitable for the teaching and research of IEEE802.15.4 protocol.
