Managing technical professionals: things to remember

I have been writing quarterly articles in the Engineering Management Review since 2011 and have covered many different topics that I believe technology managers should think about. I have found that the solution to most of what we deal with as technology managers is to follow our common sense. If two of your engineers are having a conflict and you feel it in your gut that what you are about to tell them is going to make things worse, then listen to your gut and don't do it.
