ISM based identification of quality attributes for agile development

Quality in the context of software is a complex term. The software quality has been considered as an important term in software industry since the beginning of the software development. According to the researchers study one of the software development process that overcomes the challenge of quality is agile process. Agile is a process that focuses more on continuous integration (CI), proving quality of product in a quantifiable manner. But still researchers are not able to prove it quantitatively. This research paper presents a framework that engages in modelling and measuring agile quality attributes so that practitioners can focus their efforts on most critical attributes and thus achieving higher quality. The framework uses Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) for modelling and measuring various agile quality attributes. ISM helps in developing interrelationship among these attributes. The paper, discuss key concept of ISM approach and the proposed framework optimizes the process of enhancing the overall quality by identifying most critical agile quality attributes having higher driving power.
