The bigger picture - R2-D2 ANA jet [Transport Star Wars Plane]

This All Nippon Airways (ANA) Star Wars-themed plane made its maiden flight recently from Haneda, Japan to Vancouver, Canada in celebration of the latest release in the franchise, 'Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens'. The aptly named R2-D2 ANA JET, which is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner JA873A, was full of lucky fans and well-loved characters of the films, like Chewbacca and the Stormtroopers, who posed in front of the jetliner for pictures a day before its initial take-off. As a bonus, for three more days after the first flight, fans were able to experience the iconic droid lookalike as it flew locally in Japan.
