Analysis of the photovoltaic panels currently in use in different locations

The energy production using the photovoltaic systems is an alternative, regenerable and nonpolluant method with good economical results. This article emerged as a consequence of the analysis of the photovoltaic systems mounted in different area locations, in order to estimate the significant measures necessary to improve the design and the installation activity. First, modeling and simulations of a photovoltaic cell is studied and current-voltage characteristics, power-voltage characteristics, and power-current characteristics are presented for different temperatures of the environment and different values for the solar radiation. Second, data analysis is provided for the photovoltaic systems currently in use. Statistically the analysis covers less than two years of data, but quite enough for a primary estimation. Conclusions regarding the parameters which influence the energy production are presented.
