The faults of overhead switchgear are mainly occurred in winter season. In such cases, it is often extended to wide area power outage. The main causes are bushing cracks, insulation breakdowns by a drop of SF6 gas pressure and so on. So KEPCO has considered how to cope with the situation in recent years.
