Development of crystalline nanocomposites with KDP crystals as nanofiller

In this paper we demonstrate the alumina (pAl
2
O
3
) based nanocomposites with straight cylindrical nanochannels (35 nm) filled by potassium dihydrophosphate (KDP) crystals. The precise X-ray diffraction technique was used to verify and prove existence of KDP nanocrystallites inside the pores. Possible aspects of their applications in different areas of science and technology are discussed. The chemical and physical concept of relevant crystalline nanocomposites with tailored anisotropy is presented.
