Heterogeneous mathematical tools for the analysis of diabetes — A fractal system

This paper focuses on Mathematical models to assess and analyze the variations of blood sugar level in humans. Higuchi's Fractal Dimension is used for assessing irregularity of blood glucose concentration. The non-integer values obtained indicate that diabetes follows a fractal model. Diabetes affects people of all age groups. To ascertain the age group that is predominantly affected, notion of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Soft Matrix is used. It is found that the worst affected age group is the middle aged. Blood glucose concentration does affect the blood flow. To investigate this, Reynolds number, Darcy's law and Poiseuille's law have been applied. It is interesting to note that the values differ between diabetic and non-diabetic patients. The heterogeneous models presented in this paper highlight the applications of Mathematical modeling in day to day life thus paving way for more productive research in fractal models like diabetes.
