Comparative study of the multiport converter used in renewable energy systems

Presently, the concept of renewable energy is gaining ground, because power, and especially electrical power or electrical applications, are tending towards renewable sources, and as a consequence the use of renewable energy increased over the past years. This paper presents a review of multiport converters, different multiport converters are to be discussed, and a comparison between a transformer and transformer less multiport converter is added. Simulation results are included for multiport converters. The multiport converters simulated are as: One simulation is a multiport converter with a transformer (Full Bridge Three Port and Half Bridge Three Port DC-DC Converter) and the second simulation contains a multiport without a transformer (Transformer less Dual input single output).
