Solar PV plants in Serbia and practical experience for solar power plant “Solaris 1&2” in Kladovo

The principle of solar power is known and widely applied for many years. What makes it current today is application of modern technologies in the design, construction and production of individual components and overall system performance. Great possibilities of control and supervision over the production process. These characteristics gives them high security of production with economic profitability of investments. Energy Law of the Republic of Serbia set the legal framework and the ability to use incentives in the production of electricity from renewable sources. An example of good use of RES is shown in the article through a small power plant SOLARIS 1 in Kladovo. The technical analysis shows that the location of the object SOLARIS small PV solar park in the Municipality of Kladovo is at a very affordable place, and that the annual quantity of electricity which can be obtained from a planned solar power plant is 1440 MWh annually. Efficiency measurements made in order to determine real efficiency of a small solar power plant SOLARIS 1 made in the second quarter of the year has shown that the plant had 6.4% higher production than expected.
