Simulation test system for substation patrol robot

Results of substation equipment inspection are analyzed by the background system of the substation patrol robot, so the background system needs the perfect test. However, there are deficiencies in current test environment. This paper proposes a simulation test system for substation patrol robot which is aimed at overcoming these deficiencies. The simulation test system consists of a simulation control subsystem, a detection subsystem, and a communication subsystem. This paper focuses on the simulation for the control subsystem of the substation patrol robot, describes the startup process of the simulation control subsystem and highlights the simulation process of the patrol task. The application in practical test verifies that the simulation test system is a cost-effective solution, and supports the long time, large scale test.
