Design of a miniaturized 433MHz MIMO antenna

Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) technology can increase the channel capacity and the reliability of the transmission, so MIMO technology has become a hot spot in the field of wireless communication. Multi-antenna technology is an important part of MIMO technology. A MIMO antenna, with two elements and operating on 433 MHz, was proposed in this paper. For the antenna element, due to the low frequency of 433MHz band, it will be a large size for the design of 433MHz antenna elements. Both of the antenna elements were printed on a FR4substrate. Here we improved the antenna structure to make the antenna become more compact. In order to achieve the good isolation, a new isolation antenna structure was designed in this work. The simulation results were analyzed and explained finally.
