Numerical iron loss analysis of wound-core reactor with gaps at high-frequency excitation

We analyzed the iron loss of a wound-core reactor with gaps at high-frequency excitation using the three-dimensional parallel finite element method. Consequently, the complex distribution of the eddy current in the wound-core due to the leakage flux is computed, and the iron loss is numerically clarified.
